Cleaning after getting wet question.

Cleaning after getting wet question.

Shot my first USPSA PCC match Saturday and used my Scorpion Carbine with fake suppressor. We just knew it was going to rain, but got lucky. Had my Scorpion got wet, how would I have cleaned and protected the barrel under the hand guard to prevent rust?

Barry,

You can use a "strap wrench" to remove the suppressor.  Then oil the barrel and replace.

Ruger Vaqueros and Stoegers are easier to clean.  Stick with Cowboy guns.

Hope to see you Saturday.  Unless you sell us out to shoot machine guns again.

Now that's funny.

I'll be shooting all the cowboy stages Saturday.

My shooting matches sure have gotten diversified here lately.

SASS, Action Pistol, Outlaw 3-Gun, GSSF, 3-Gun Nation, USPSA PCC, and Pistol Caliber FA

Kinda like heaven on earth. See you on Posse 1.

The finish is quite durable.

Yeah, plastic hardly ever rusts.

There's only like 4 or 5 parts that are metal anway  ;D

They're almost like those "metal detector proof" glocks that you keep hearing about.

When people ignorant of guns make gun laws, you end up with ignorant gun laws.
