I can't say there's anything on the horizon that interests me at this point but I'am impressed with the improvements they have made with the new Mark IV. I'd seriously consider that over the S&W.

The thing I don't like about the Mark IV is the Nambu grip angle. I'm holding out for a 22/45 (not-lite).

I got to handle a Victory, and liked it quite a lot.

If it's for something that's on the market right now, I'd get the Canik TP9SF Elite.  I'm very impressed with that pistol, though I wish it was a bit smaller.

I know this is a CZ site, but I was impressed with a friends Walther PPQ in 9mm.  Good trigger right out of the box, smooth shooter, and with a 4" barrel it is in that price range out the door from a dealer($550-600).

Next week I'll be getting a Colt 1908 Pocket Hammerless for $595. If it had to be a new gun it would be a Wather PPS M2.
