What do you shoot in IDPA
« on: February 26, 2017, 10:54:17 PM »
Last year I used my P09 in my IDPA matches. This year I'm back to my revolver, at least for now. Am considering shooting either my P01 (Omega) or S&W E series 1911. Curious what you all shoot in IDPA matches & why

In the winter, I shoot my 75 in street gear (IWB, untucked tshirt, mags in pocket) for practice. Match season, I shoot REV with my GP100 - full gamer gear.

I started shooting wheelgun as an attempt to make myself slow down and concentrate on accuracy. Ended up having so much fun with it, I've been shooting it primarily for the last several years. Started shooting ICORE last year - that's the most fun shooting I've had in years.

I use a SP-01 Shadow DA/SA in SSP and a 75 Shadow SAO w/magwell in ESP.  Both are FULLY cajunized and CZCized.

While we don't have ICORE where I live, I'm having a hoot with my revolvers too, especially when I outshoot a bottom feeder ;D

SP-01 Shadow,   I plan on running an Accushadow this year some in ESP at a few matches.   May even put a magwel on it if there is room as far as weight.

I just started in February, but I've used my stock 75BD in two IDPA matches, and one USPSA match.

SP-01 Tactical in SSP. Worked by CZ-Custom.

I have not shot CDP yet, but I have a CZ-97BD for when I decide to give it a try.

I only marked P-09 as that is what I shoot the most but I have shot my P-07 in CCP a good bit too and was lucky enough to win two State matches in my division. Luckily I only had to beat three or four other shooters each time.

I hope it still fits in the box with the new rules, I saw someone posted the shot it at the FL match and it fit the box.

Last match, I shot my shadow sp 01 lower with a long slide upper.  I loved it and was quite accurate with it.  It weighs in at 43 ounces on my scale with rubber grips.

CZ SP01 shadow all the way
nothing changed except the grips and CZ factory hammer.
