Texas Star - Me (1-1)

Did pretty well on the Texas Star today. Overall, happy with my performance. Gotta work on maintaining a stronger grip during shooting so my sights come back aligned straight.

Not too shabby. I hate spinning stars - especially a Polish Texas star.

Had to look that up.. thankfully I don't THINK we have any at this range haha. But I honestly would love to try and shoot it... I think my biggest problem is that steel looks like such an easy target that I rush my shots. If I took just a hair longer to actually get front sight focus my score would have been much better.

I'm not super great with the star,  but it's one of my favorites.

Your comment about speed sums up as SMOOTH is FAST.  For me a uniform shooting "Pace" that has no misses is best for my score.  Shoot it exactly the same way every time if all of the star is visible.

That being said,  when I miss,  it's at the bottom of the star.  :P

The "Polish Plate Rack" is actually easier IF you never miss.  O0  It's fun too.

Texas star can be tough, but when you use a red dot you can burn it down.  Makes all the difference in the world and with the new rule on mags can run 23+1
