Bronze Heritage
« on: March 01, 2017, 07:48:21 AM »
I was browsing BudsGunShop.com the other day and saw that they have a couple of new versions of the Heritage.  One in black and the other in bronze over black.  Both are selling for well under $1000, which is a steal for a new Heritage.  I've been wanting a Heritage and when I saw these, could not pass up the bronze one.  At $920, it's over $300 less than the standard Heritage.

In the last week or two I've had one in my cart 2-3x!  They are tempting!

If anyone is thinking of buying a 1911 you better buy one of these quick.  This is the best deal in a new quality 1911 I've seen in ages.

Those didn't last long, both showing out of stock now.

My graphite black one should be getting to my FFL today. It looks like the other sources for them have dried up too.

I picked mine up yesterday and was able to put about 200 rounds through it this morning.  What a fantastic pistol.  It's just a plain old sweet shooting 1911.  I put a set of VZ grips over a set of Pierce finger grooves on it.  I'll order grips specific for this fairly soon.

Congrats!

That bronze color looks very different...is it really as shiny as in the pic?

It's more satin than shiny

I put another 100 rounds through it this week and it just keeps getting better.  The trigger pull went from 4.25 lbs to a perfect 3.5 just with shooting it in.
