I have a cz75b 9mm and a Cz75b .40. The barrels do not appear to be the same OD when placed end to end.  I also do no intend to do any of the smithing work myself...that's why I have contacted the custom shop. I don't care how they do it, I'm looking for a drop in product.. Happy with that? Since I want to use the .40 chassis, I assumed it would be best to use the .40 bbl contour. Copy?

I'm sure CZ will assist you. As reference to others, I know of two barrel outside diameters on the CZ75 platform. a 13.97mm/0.550 inch and 12.8mm/0.504"...or 13 and 14 mm outside diameter if you prefer to round. I've found the 13mm on CZ75 and 85 combat 9mm barrels. I've seen the 14mm OD on SP01 9mm, CZ75 40 S&W, Shadows in 9mm, Tactical Sports in 9mm and 40S&W, etc. You will find confirmation of this when shopping for an aftermarket barrel bushing at Cajun Gun Works. Go over to his website and search for barrel bushings and read the descriptions.

Actually, if you really want to do it, contact CZC. Get a .40sw 75 of your choice, and they can ream the chamber of an SP-01 9mm barrel and fit it to your gun.
Right here the whole time.  8)

I think the OP is looking for a drop-in product.

My understanding is there is substantial gun to gun/barrel to barrel variance requiring some fitting, whether done by CZC or the owner.

He asked for the current situation. Currently there are no drop in barrels. Five minutes on the phone with Stuart and he will get definitive answers that will confirm the above with pricing. No flame/snark intended.

Sorry if I seemed snarky too, lots of confusion in this thread.

If I thought I could get a 9mm SP01 barrel to fit my .40 75B i would have bought one and reamed it for .357 already myself.

With eastman saying switching 9 and 40 barrels back and forth in the SP01 works, a .357 CZ built on factory parts might be limited to SP01's and RAMI's.

Earl Keese (CZC I assume) has provided the good info that a SP01 9mm barrel can be modded by czc with a new chamber for .357 sig and fitted to my currently owned .40 CZ 75 B (ser # BO388XX) to make the conversion.  This is exactly the info I was seeking and had submitted by e-mail to CZC on the 12th. I will call the POC designated by Earl.
