What can I say?  Here I am struggling with a 4" plastic carry gun when I should be shooting the Kadet and 97 and trying to match your targets!!

 :) :) :) :)

I am not trying to compete with you and not planning to film it either.
There is old Russian/Jewish joke about old man selling flowers on the street across the Bank. When his friend ask to borrow money, his reply was: "Bank and I have an agreement. They don't sell flowers, I don't lend money!"

Special treat for Joe L! Happy Fathers Day!
All shot in the same match today

And a bonus!

97/3 Slow fire 50 yards. Those are 45ACP 185 JHP bullets. The holes are smaller than their scoring size.

Boris,
Golly, I'm ecstatic to see these latest targets.  On Father's Day or any other day.  I got up early thinking I was going to see something extraordinary today, and this was a great start!  Congratulations.  I missed the Texas state bullseye match a few weeks ago, and it was held here at my home range in West Texas.  My goal is to shoot at least one clean target in a match, any match, before I retire to YouTube only.

Congrats on a terrific match result.

This is such an excellent and informative thread. Thanks all for posting. I've bookmarked for continued reference.

I've been  trying to speed up my shooting for IDPA and USPSA matches.
But comments about how Bulls-eye discipline can translate is very helpful toward achieving both accuracy and speed. Often thought about value of Kadet kit. Now I understand.   Thanks!  -Vinny

Happy Holidays (Easter, Passover etc..)  to Joe L and the rest of the community!
Enjoy!

First is a "Required" 100  ;D
Rapid fire, outdoor 25yrd, overcast, light wind.

Second one is the target I am proud of much more.
98 in a slow fire at 50yrd! Yeah!
