CGW SAO flat faced trigger
« on: April 02, 2017, 03:43:13 PM »
Can someone tell me the width of the CGW flat faced trigger?  The website listing shows its dimensions at 3x2x.5, which seems doubtful in any measuring system that I can think of.  My CZC flat faced trigger measures 5/16 inch (.3125) across the trigger face. I am thinking of converting another gun to SA and buy periodically from CGW.  I know I can call David tomorrow and ask, but if someone here knows it will keep him from leaving the bench and slowing up one of your projects. :)

My 6SAO measures .312 (5/16") replacing the stock 75B SA trigger which also measures the same. I don't think it can be any wider otherwise it wouldn't through the frame.

.312" is correct.  The stock trigger is typically .313 - 314".  We prefer the trigger just drop in with no fitting, so we make it .001 - 002" undersized on the width.

h8louzn,

Not w/o modification.  The Canik trigger pin is 2.5 mm in diameter, the CZ is 2 mm and our 6SAO is drilled for the 2 mm.

We will be offering our 6SAO in the next month or so modified to fit the Canik, obviously with a new part number.
