It's funny you bring these up... MAC (Military Arms Channel) on youtube literally made a video discussing how he was using both of these but was currently using his p-01 omega more due to the availability of night sights. I think he really liked both and they seemed to be interchangeable to him, but since at the time he made the video the Sphinx did not have night sights he was carrying the P-01. I believe he used the term, "functionally they are nearly identical" Here is the video:

I can get a FDE w/ meprolite night sights for $800 shipped or a black one without night sights for $774 shipped. You guys think all black is worth passing up a deal on the FDE?

$26 for night sights seems like a good deal.

I like the looks of the FDE too. But I know it's very subjective.

I went with the Sphinx SDP FDE w/ black slide and black controls + meprolight night sights for $799 shipped.

What are your takes on FDE/Black firearms for CCW?

Haha Beretta that's an awesome firearm but a Custom shop CZ is s little more pricey than a Sphinx or a Omega but I had inquired about one with the shop and the were out of stock with an unknown date so I truthfully didn't feel like waiting. Same thing for a pro package CGW P-01.

i'm not going to lie...i've always wanted a sphinx 3000 tactical but for those who thought p01 omegas were hard to find...plus i'm not dropping $3k plus either.  obviously, the sphinx sdp is the economical solution and i must say...that's a bleep good looking pistol you've got there.  i'm liking the two tone the more i look at it.
