Welcome to our forum.
Full size SIG Sauers, CZ  sport pistols,  and classic collectible USGI 1911s have always been among my favourite guns.
I've been an avid collector and a shooter for decades, and I never stop learning,
After over 38  years of guns-ownership I still enjoy shooting my own reloadings at IDPA ranges at least twice a week.
JMO this is one of the best gun forums among the several I belong to, hope you'll enjoy your time here.
Regards.

Sergio

Before you start collecting guns ...   buy books! Collect "quality" not something that you'll be forever making excuses for, and buy the gun not the story behind it.

thanks for adding me on, I'm interested in the model 82's & 83's thinking about picking one up

GunBroker is your friend if you want to find a vz82 or CZ83. The 83 is available in one common version (.380) and two uncommon versions (9mm Mak & 7.65mm Browning (aka .32 ACP)), and be prepared to pay extra (and possibly a lot extra) for the 7.65.

If you have a Type 03 FFL (Collector of Curios & Relics), then there are occasional chances to find the vz82 from dealers like Southern Ohio Guns.

The Beretta 84 is about the same size (handled one but haven't fired one).
