9mm carbine that uses CZ 75B magazines?
« on: April 13, 2017, 09:09:51 PM »
Does anyone know of a 9mm carbine that takes 75B magazines, or an 'upper' that takes a 75B frame like the Mechtech CCU or FAB Defense unit?

Give them an inch and eventually they'll become a ruler.

Everything that I've read, is that the KelTec Sub 2000 that takes Sig mags, will also accept CZ mags. YMMV
If guns are outlawed.........

Ronin.

But it would turn it into an SBR, so you'd have to get a tax stamp for it.

They claim it does not make it an SBR.
Well, in California, black color alone will make it an evil assault rifle. Will have to paint it pink or something  8)

If the barrel is less than 16 inches (it is)
and/or
If the overall length is less than 26 inches (looks like it is)

It's an SBR.

If I put on my TC Contender G2 12" barrel registered as pistol, rifle stock, will it make it a SBR?

Yes.

Shoulder fired (stocked guns) have to have a barrel greater than 16.0" and an overall length greater than 26 inches.  If either of the measurements are less than what I have listed, it's a short barrel rifle.

Thanks for the tip.  I just discovered that Kel-Tec sells a magazine release for the 75 for $12.50.  You just swap it out on any of the non-Glock models and you're good to go.
