Love my FS in 6.5x55 . The target 1st sight in at 100 yds. 1st shot low at 6:00. Adjusted, then the next 3, 2 shot groops I removed and reinstalled the scope to test out the Alaska Arms QD rings. My Hand loads I use Nosler brass and 140 gr Nosler Partition bullets. All shots stayed in the 10 ring. I'm happy.

Exactly what I am seeking. I?ve held off bidding on the sole 550 FS .308 on fb because I would like pretty wood.

Is there a preferred vendor for the forum? Where did you get the rifle?

I'm very confident with her, took 2 does last  November. She shoots great , low recoil, both deer went right down. Love the 6.5x55
