New Boolet design
« on: April 20, 2017, 12:23:03 AM »
Looks like someone let the cat out of the bag when they included this top secret experimental design in my last batch of hollow points.

I'll bet this is the finest paper cutter on earth! And I will hold out until they pay me big bucks to return it!

Keep a close eye on the PD website for news! O0

Looks like it was notched but not pointed.   You know you can fix that.

;D  I have the finished ,model not yet released to the public.  Mine is pristine shiny new  CUP with no deformities at all.  It was mistakenly included in my last PD 124 JHP order.  A perfect cup for the lead.

If you've ever watched a commercial bullet swaging machine crank out bullets, it's a wonder more of them don't come out a little "off".  That jacket looks like it may have not gotten a full core, but from the pictures it's hard to tell.  It may have just fell off the track before the final point form die.

I believe Jake Wilcox, the owner of Rocky Mountain Reloading, may have a link to his in-house bullet swaging machine and core cutter.  It's pretty amazing to watch, and when you consider they're making these bullets by the millions, the QC is pretty good.

Hope this helps.

That bullet puts the "hollow" in hollow point.  O0
