Titan 25 mouse gun found a spring!
« on: April 26, 2017, 08:18:49 PM »

I was gifted this today and I love it, hilarious story too rad to tell. Sworn to work yet the recoil spring and guide rod is missing. Looks like I need a full length rod like my CZs. However the rod rests against the safety to give it a detent and tension, so maybe a ball end. I can fab / mod something to fit but a photo would be great or spring dimensions. Thanks for any help.

Great gift!
Don't know anything about them, but maybe check here. http://www.gun-parts.com/excam/
The Excam GT 27, says same as Titan .25. They list a full recoil assembly among a lot of other parts.
Also looks like there's a bunch of different parts on eBay.

CD, Thanks a lot for the hustle. I looked at that cool parts list in the link. I may have to call them tomorrow. I also searched on eBay, like you said, using the Excam GT 27 tag from that parts list. I just contacted an eBay seller and made an offer on a return spring and guide rod. I'll keep posting! Thank You Again!

Ive got one of those. I dont care what anyone thinks. They are fun to tote in the pocket. I remember being scared to death to pull the trigger on mine to see if it fired. The guy i bought it from said he was scared of it. I think i gave $30 for it. I still sing saturday night special to myself every time i put it in my pocket. I also tell myself that if you have to shoot someone with it you better be ready to fight because all it will do is make them mad.
Im still not scared to use it if i have to. I found that hornady critical defense (35 grain) hollow point shoots better than 50 grain hard ball.

Thanks a lot for that. I really needed to see the field strip process. I was worried that I had another part missing but that cleared it up.

I was turned down again on another offer via ebay. Oh well, I really did appreciate the replies each time from the seller. For my friends here info; I did offer the same price as the Arkansas gun shop link in this thread. I will try to contact that shop Monday.

The little gun did great at the range. I was pleasantly surprised with the groups and the shoot-ability. I really didn't think much about the small size. I have shot smallish guns a lot, namely G26 and Shield. I made a torso sized group at 35 yards, first shots. Went to 10 yards for hand-size, palm-size and a couple smaller groups with Fiocchi 50g fmj.

Very first gun I purchased. It's not exactly premium quality but I still have it and shoot it occasionally.
