Hogue Pistol grips for Scorpion....
« on: April 28, 2017, 04:08:22 PM »
I called Hogue and the lady at customer service did not know of any grips for the Scorpion.

She did say that she would put the request into one of the managers.

She also said the more people that call in for these parts, the more likely it will be that Hogue would produce them.

I went with the Talon Grips grip wrap, as I got along with the std. grip just fine.

It just needed to be a little "grippier". Their rubberized material is just great.

I saw the title and got really excited. I sent them an email asking about grips though. That would be almost as good as magpul.

I used Talon grips on my Glock 17 Gen 3 duty pistol before we switched out to the Gen 4 version. LOVE Talon grips. Best $17 you can spend on a firearm.

Thank you for doing that. Hopefully we can get enough people to bug them!

A Hogue grip designed for the Scorpion would be nice.

I buy 4"x8" sheets of "talon grip" material from ebay. It will do a couple of handguards. I also like the tuff1 grip covers. Very sticky rubber with different patterns on them.

I like the idea for a temp solution but, like with my duty weapon, I find the slip on grips tend to twist around putting the finger grooves under the palm. Very distracting.

Hit the inside of the grip with a little hairspray and it will hold better.

Believe me, once you get it where you want it, it is not twisting.  I'll have to cut it if I ever decide to take it off.

That gooey rubber stuff makes my skin peel and crack, whether on a tooth brush, a steering wheel cover, or gun grip, etc.  I am always taking them off an putting on wood or rigged plastic.  I am able to sell the Hogue take offs for top dollar however.

Hogue grips are my favorite.  I have five of them on pistols, and a stock on my 10/22.  If they make one I would quickly pick one up.

CZ Custom Trigger/Disconnector Kit
HBI Theta Charging Handle
HBI Duckbill Mag Release Lever
