New Member introduction
« on: May 05, 2017, 03:46:30 PM »
Hello from South Georgia. Obviously new to Forum Membership so I don't know how complete an introduction needs to be. Will be safe and make it brief.

I have been a life long gun lover --- hand guns, shotguns and rifles of several different makes and models which, for about a year, now includes a CZ 75D CRP (my favorite pistol ).

Enjoy rifle/handgun target shooting and skeet shooting, but concentrate on tactical shooting most. Also like to hunt upland game.

Other hobbies include travel, golf, photograph and gym workouts 3x a week. Camping is another pleasure which at my age I don't do much of anymore. My wife also enjoys the out of doors --- unfortunately, all of it involves yard work.

Am a retired physician ; have three children--two married daughters( each have two children ) and a son who had a stroke seven years ago rendering him totally disabled. He lives with his mother and me and, gratefully, both of us are in very good health and feel blessed to be able to care for him at home.

Believe it or not-- that is the "short" version but really there is not much else to tell.

Looking forward to being on the Forum with you all and learning more about our "favorite " guns.

Best,
Walt R.

Walt,  welcome to the forum from South Texas.
I truly empathize with your situation.  My wife is a stroke victim and my mother is in a nursing home 1250 miles away.  I'm her only child.

For me,  pistols,  shotgun and reloading are great therapy. ;D  Powder therapy is very beneficial..

Join in and tell about your shooting activities in the various forums.
Danger:  CZs are definitely addictive and "require" special prescriptions to be in top shape. O0

Hope everyone's having a nice evening. 48 year old male from Michigan. Love guns the great outdoors spending time with my family. Feel free to say hello. Joined the CZ forum because I need to get to know more about the company and firearms. Going to be picking up my first CZ next Wednesday, a p10-c, so I'm hoping to make some friends here that can help me learn more about the CZ line. Past guns where Mossberg, Remington, Smith and Wesson, Glock and Ruger. If I can help anyone with anything feel free to ask. And again, nice to be part of your forum.

Welcome to our forum.
Full size SIG Sauers, CZ SP01 and classic USGI 1911s have always been among my favourite guns, I've been an avid shooter and collector for decades and I never stop learning,
After over 38  years of guns-ownership I still enjoy shooting my own reloadings at IDPA ranges at least twice a week.
JMO this is one of the best gun forums among the several I belong to, hope you'll enjoy your time here.

Between the new PCR and a love of upland game, I feel like we're old friends!

Welcome to the forum,

Welcome from OK.

- In all forms of strategy, it is necessary to maintain the combat stance in everyday life and to make your everyday stance your combat stance. (situational awareness).
- You can only fight the way you practice.
