I'm a serious SciFi reader.  I have hundreds of them, if not more.  Boxes and boxes in the attic and the garage.

The only "gun" books I've really ever enjoyed from cover to cover are a couple written by General Hatcher.

Hatcher's Notebook and Hatcher's Book of the Garand.

They used to do some truly amazing and real life testing back in those days.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Love to read. Lots of old science fiction, biographies, military action and histories, African hunting stories old and new (loved reading Capstick) and, of course, guns.

Nice try hiding the Glock book.  ;)

Had this posted on another forum...

Got more since then, which started a pile under my desk. Long range shooting, Carcanos, and western firearms.

Any good CZ books out there? English, preferably.

For sure, lots of "seagulls" around here and those Glocks just like to get in the way all the time . There's a book by James D. Brown with the title "Cold War Pistols of Czechoslovakia" that gets into the minutiae of the older vz. pistols more so than the CZ 75.

Read lots of stuff, lately it's been David Drake, Clive Cussler, and Terry Pratchett. Waiting for Bernard Cornwell's next book in the Saxon Chronicles and  Larry Corria's next book in the Monster Hunters series.
