Just a side note: from what I've seen and noted the P10 is more like a G17 than it is a G19 size wise.

Not in my experience. The slide on the P10 is .2 taller than the G19, measured at the rear of the front sight. However, when they're side by side upside down, resting on the sights, the bottom of the mags are almost the same height. The P10 is .2 taller. If I were to bob the backstrap of the P10,like the G19,they would basically be the same size. In my hands it feels like a more ergonomic G19 and carries just as well.
It's funny how we all 'feel' things differently. 😊

I know there's no mags in but thisis the image that swayed me.

True, to each his own right? That image would make me think the same thing as you, but I can assure you that with the mags inserted there isn't much difference.

Some Glock 19 - P10C comparison pics here: https://www.glocktalk.com/threads/cz-p10-c-and-glock-19-gen-4-grip-width-comparison.1653192/

One issue I have with the G19 and G26 is that when reloading from slide lock, the skin bulging from the base of my grip contacts the magazine basepad.  If I don't lift my pinky, the mag won't fall away so I sometimes end up shaking the mag out.  With my P-10, the longer backstrap prevents this and the mags glide out.  It does print a little more so I'm thinking of bobbing it just a little.  Might do a practice run with the unused L backstrap when I stipple it.

Good write up.  Yes, PPQ is WAY TOO LIGHT.

I felt the perfect SF trigger the other day - the Canik TP9SF.  Perfect.  Like a tuned 1911 and not too light. Almost bought it despite it is not a hammer gun.  Haven't seen a CZ yet.  Hard to see CZs - thats the main problem.

I just picked up an FDE P10C today and a buddy of mine picked up his Canik TP9SF up yesterday.  We're going shooting in the morning and it will be interesting to compare triggers between the two pistols.  He bought his Canik after shooting a P10C and not liking it, but from what I see so far, I'm going to really like the P10C when I finally get to shoot it.

According to the GlockTalk post, the front straps are the same height, the only difference is the rear:
