Hello from Alaska!
« on: May 16, 2017, 03:19:22 AM »
Hello from Alaska, CZ fans! My name is Curtis Berry, and I am a recent convert the the amazing CZ platform. I've fallen in love with my 75 B Omega and have all sorts of ideas brewing for customizing it. I am a machinist by trade and own and operate Midnight Sun Industries here in beautiful Kenai, Alaska. I have been a fan of the 1911 for quite a while and have been making grips for them out of titanium and copper for about 2 years now, and since I've been into CZs as of late, my focus has been in developing some awesome and unique new things for the CZ platform. Lots of cool stuff to come! I'm still new here, so as I get more time on this forum, I hope to be showing some pics of the things I've been dabbling with here at the shop! Thanks all, have a good one : )

A hearty "Howdy!" from the Lone Star State!

I'm a big fan of the thin aluminum grips that came on my CZ97B.  I can only imagine what your titanium/copper ones might be like.

Welcome to our forum.

Full size "SIG Sauers",  "CZ" sport pistols,  and classic collectible "USGI 1911s"  have always been among my favourite guns.
I've been an avid collector and a shooter for decades, but  I never stop learning,
After over 38  years of guns-ownership I still enjoy shooting my own reloadings at IDPA ranges at least twice a week.

JMO this is one of the best gun forums among the several I belong to, hope you'll enjoy your time here.

Safe shooting.
Sergio

Before you start collecting guns... buy books! Don't collect something that you'll be forever making excuses for, be careful not to get drawn to a piece that is not original, and buy the gun not the story.
