Can't find info on CZ-75b model #91101.
« on: May 16, 2017, 10:46:25 AM »
I won a Gunbroker auction yesterday on a new CZ75b SKU 91101.  The only info I could find on this 91101 was that it was a European model that has different style plastic grips, but supposedly identical to the 91102.  Anyway, I'm just curious if this info is correct, or are there any other differences. I borrowed these pics for reference:

Well I guess I'm not the only one who never saw this model before.

The grips very well could be the only difference. Some of the pistols from CZ that were made for a foreign market will have little differences like that.
I'd call CZ USA, they should be able to tell you exactly what the difference is. My guess would be the grips. Any factory difference will produce a different sku# I believe.

Those resemble the grips used in the mid-late 1990s. Like cntrydawwwg wrote, best to call CZ-USA.

I'll give CZ USA a call tomorrow or Friday.  The gun does not have the omega trigger. It was produced in 2016 with a non-black coated barrel, unlike the 2016 91102. I really like the look of the euro grips, and I hope they feel great in the hand. I was pleasantly surprised that I won the auction for a NIB CZ75b at under $450 delivered to my FFL.

That's a great deal. FWIW, I have never seen those grips on new production CZ 75s at the CZUB store or in more limited "store inspections" in Central Europe.

I called CZ USA today, and he said the only difference that he could find was the grips. Also, this particular model/shipment was about 200 units that was distributed very quickly. The 91101 is not listed in the 2016 or 2017 catalog. I guess it was a limited run.

Just speculating that the factory might have decided to clear out the 90s "anatomic" grips still in stock. I'll ask at the CZUB store if they have them although they are not displayed. Should see some of these pistols show up on the auction site?

Thanks, there are a couple listed on Gunbroker right now. Not sure how fast 200 units will sell, but I have one of them coming to me.

Grips are same as my 90's glossy blue 75B purchased new.
When did it change from "We the people" to "screw the people"?

Why use 911 when it's faster to use 1911 or 9mm?

How did the seller list auction title?  I did a search on "91101" in the history, but your auction didn't show.  I'd like to know if the seller has more to sell.

He didn't list it as a 91101, but the pictures show it as a 91101. I'll send you a PM with the link to my purchase.

DLSUPPLIES has a quantity of three listed under one auction ad for that SKU. The description states the grips are "European market" and not the same as the ones on the stock photo they are using on the ad. Did the CZ-USA person use that "European market" term for the grips?
