Sights. The dust cover difference made no difference, but I like the PCR stock sights better, that's all. The LCI was a plus, at least for me.

Just curious, what caliber is your RAMI?  9 or 40? Manual or Decocker?

9mm w/safety

Reason for asking.....What is your preferred method of carry? The P-01 and PCR are DA/SA decockers. Only the RAMI BD is a comparable decocker; the RAMI manual safety model like you currently have is a different mode of carry (cock & lock-SA?) unless you manually decock it over a live round to obtain DA/SA. Not a big deal once you get used to manually decocking safely (I like using the thumb method), but not as convenient as a decocker to obtain DA/SA.

I lower the hammer for DA/SA carry. I actually wish the manual safety wasn't there even though no decocker....... but yes the decocker would be convenient

P-01 rear dovetail has the most options for aftermarket sights.  That's the main reason I got it, I'm never satisfied with CZ's stock sights.

CZC recently came out with tritium sights for the PCR, so that's a good option now that didn't exist when I was looking.

Holsters for P-01 may be easier to find since it share with SP-01 for models that aren't closed on the muzzle (ie, most hybrid designs).

Is there that much difference between the P-01 and the PCR for carry?
The size looks similar and the rail doesn't appear to make much difference.
For those that have carried both, what was the difference for you?

Yes there is a size difference. I have a steel framed Compact CZ75 and a Rammi that is undergoing a frame refinishing but the Rammi is easier to carry as it is a noticeably smaller gun. The compact sized CZ75s are a good choice for inside the waist band but believe me, subcompacts are easier to carry and the Rammi is a subcompact.

I chose the P01(decocker for a reduced reach on DA first shot capability) and just replaced the sights with TFX Pro's.  IMHO it is the perfect handgun.

I had a RAMI and sold it, would not carry it. Just too bulky and does not come close to the shield in comfort to carry or slimness.

Currently looking for a po1 or PCR. Seems PCR would be the way to go

If I could only have one handgun that does EVERYTHING well, I have to agree the P-01 is The one for me. With the DA/SA decocker, the TFX Pro sights and the small Surefire XC-1 light (and 2X the capacity of the Shield), it's one sweet gun that does it all, day or night.

Now...IF the SHTF and I could only have three.....what would it be?  My micro-9 Sig in the pocket, my P-01 on my side, and my Mossberg Shockwave 590 with Streamlight TLR-4  in hand.   ;)  Each to their own.

Both the PCR and P-01 are awesome guns.  But for me, the PCR is easier to carry due to the narrow front end.

To me the Rami just didn't fit or feel near as good as the P-01 or PCR to me.
the size isn't that much smaller to be worth the lack of ergos to me.
I was up for either the PCR or P-01, the P-01 came in first and that's what I got.
Now I do not care for the small  glow sights on the CZ and I knew  the pistol was going to be my carry gun I knew a set of tritium sights was going on it, so that wasn't an issue in my case.
I am ,have been very pleased with my P-01, its weeeeeelll North of 8,000 rounds with not a single malfunction of any kind to operate , its accurate in my hands so it fits the bill for me, I am sure the PCR would have been the same.

Maybe I should have checked out the PCR more..... I picked up the Rami and it just felt right and had a nice trigger so I bought it... its been to the range with me a good bit but y'all have me second guessing the Rami choice A LITTLE due to the fact that it IS a little boat anchor (however manageable).... it definately shoots very well but the sound of the PCR.......... HMMMM........

Obviously you also need a PCR (and maybe a P-01 too)     O0

For those of you who know me I have 2 Rami's one regular 2075 the other is the Rami BD. I love them both and I have carried my first Rami since 2004. I would not change a thing. I have a holster purse from Galco to carry her in. Best money I ever spent.

I now carry my Rami for SD much more often than the PCR, both in similar OWB low ride holsters.   I carry my single stack Beretta Nano for SD more often in the pocket when warm weather goes against an over sweater (business attire doesn't much allow for untucked shirts).

The PCR and the full size 75b make a wonderful combo for the range.  As I introduce my CZs to new shooters, the larger handles help newbies considerably.  I preload a bunch of full size mags, a couple with the SP01 base plates for flush grip with the PCR.  Even standard mags hanging below the PCR doesnt seem to hinder my guest shooters.  Putting a full size mag in the Rami, however, is just too much extra length and sometimes causes feed issues when the newbies are gripping the mag strongly.  A 2 finger hold with the full size mag never causes Rami feed problems, but is akward.  I'm happy now just using the Rami's original mags for occassional practice and using my larger pistols to accurately, reliably throw gobs of lead at paper or steel for fun.

I have both on my permit, the 75D PCR 9mm, and the Rami 2075 9mm. I had some break in problems with the Rami, which is newer, but the feed problems gradually went away.
I carry both about equally, shoot the 75D slightly better. hide the Rami easier, and recommend both.
CZ-83, CZ-75D PCR, finally, a CZ Rami 9mm
Sure, I'd like to be young again, if it didn't come with such a big dose of stupid.
