How do you like the HS510c? I have one on the way for my Scorpion. I was going to go with the Hs515bu but thinking I'll enjoy the open optic a little more at the range.

I decided on the 510C because it is similar in size and function of the eotech, which in turn were originally designed for short distance use on assault rifles. Thus it sits on the VZ58. For sub guns, I prefer the smaller format red dots.

Thanks. I'm new to red dots so figuring it out. The HS510C just came in a few minutes ago and I'm digging it so far. My older eyes appreciate the circle dot and it seems a little easier to locate for me.

Gen 2 I think. One without the light receptacle.

My fault, I misread as usual. It's the HS515BU.

That's an awesome looking collection. I'm looking to get a VZ 58 myself.

It does sit somewhat higher than a typical low mount but a small adjustment on the cheek weld works just fine.
