Hello from Central Pennsylvania
« on: May 20, 2017, 10:06:10 PM »
Hi everyone: I'm new to this forum and new to CZ firearms. After much research, I finally purchased a 455 American .22LR. I've been to the range one time so far. It was quick to sight-in and immediately had it shooting less than a .5 inch, 5-shot group (25 yds). I've seen posts where others are doing this at 50-75 yards, but I need to take baby steps at first, but I'll get there. I just need to shoot more.  :D

I'm breaking in to CZ with a 455 American. It might be my first CZ, but it won't be my last.

Welcome from Oklahoma.

Welcome to our forum.
Full size "SIG Sauers",  "CZ" sport pistols,  and classic collectible "USGI 1911s"  have always been among my favourite guns, I have owned at least half a dozen SIGs, great guns especially older ones, the P226 to me is by far the most reliable pistol that I have owned in over 38 years of shooting handguns, and I can assure you I've shot almost everything under the sun.
In the past I've been an avid collector of Lugers,  but COLT 1911s have always been in my heart and I still own some of them.
I never stop learning with enthusiasm.
After over 38  years of guns-ownership I still enjoy shooting my own reloadings at IDPA ranges at least twice a week.
JMO this is one of the best gun forums among the several I belong to, to me it's quite a learning experience. hope you'll enjoy your time here.
Safe shooting.
Sergio

That's exactly where I'll be going. Their prices are fair, the staff great, and they have superb range facilities.

I currently own Springfield pistols for defense, but really like the looks and specs on the CZs. My plan is to go to Trop's and take a couple for a test drive. If they feel as good as they look, I may end up taking one home.
I'm breaking in to CZ with a 455 American. It might be my first CZ, but it won't be my last.
