High Performance P-10-C Pkg Coming
« on: June 02, 2017, 09:47:26 AM »
We have spent time with the P-10-C and we have a good handle on upgrades.  We intend to:

1)  Fix the creep in SA
2)  Reduce the SA from 6+ pounds to around 4
3)  Fix the trigger irritation and reduce SA over-travel
4)  Fix the nearly impossible to release slide lock
5)  Offer a variety of sights
6)  Polish tune for a high degree of performance

Great news!  I'm sure I'll be coming to get an upgraded pistol later this year!

EXCELLENT!  Can I get on a wait list?  This will make a good pistol outstanding.

Schmeky, you should get into slide milling and stippling.

Mounting red dots and slide lightening are the new craze.

A RMR'd and stippled P10C would sell like hot cakes.

Does your wife wanting more of my money have anything to do with this product development?  It might work.    :) :)

I think I will wait and have Dave build one for my collection The factory pistol has to many basic issues for my tastes which is exactly why I don't already one. I have been reading up on all the minor issues in this and other forums and have been delaying my purchase. I have bought a variety of striker fired pistols in the past from other manufacturers and most of them did not live up to the hype. I am biased because I like highly tuned crisp triggers with little pre and over travel. The better the trigger the better the shooting groups at all distances. So since I am already a fan of Daves work I will be happy to wait and see what he comes up with. Then I can buy one and send in for mods.

Not a bad idea - he and his crew do incredible work, and the new Gator Factory is coming on line in the future, too.

I want the trigger and trigger pecker redesigned.  I just got home from the range with the P-10C and that is the only thing that really bugs me right now.

The slide release and mag release on mine are fine.  I've got the sights where I want them.  I've fattened up the grip.  The trigger action relative to the striker is smooth and creepy, just a little higher pull weight than I prefer, but I could live with it just the way it is.

Mine has functioned 100% since the first shot out of the box.  I haven't cleaned it yet.  It is as accurate as the P-07/09 pistols, so it is excellent.  I like everything except the trigger and trigger pecker.
