When it first happened, I thought that the problem was running the bottom of my trigger finger along the guard, but on closer examination and subsequent use, with me it is indeed the fangs/dingus issue. Haven't filed them down yet though.

Got a new P-10c and shot 250 rds of mixed 115 and 124 gr ammo. The trigger dingus felt weird at first, but then I learned to press it consistently and both trigger pull and reset feel very nice. Side by side comparison with Gen 4 G19 gives better ergos to P-10c and it has short trigger reach, which i value because of arthritis. The pistol fired and ejected rounds without any issues, the sights are right on. No blisters or any other problems people write about in this thread. Slide and mag releases work normally with either hand. I feel lucky to have purchased such a nice pistol. :)

For those with trigger finger tip contact with the trigger guard, like me.  Look at how wide the guard is on the bottom portion compared to almost any other polymer gun, much wider than a P-07 (which I also hit initially).  Then look at how far you naturally insert the trigger finger in to the guard compared to a gun with a much longer reach to the trigger.  But, most importantly, look at how high you can grip the gun ralative to the trigger guard hole and the angle your trigger finger makes with the barrel axis when viewed from the side.  It is much more of an angle downward than most guns, due to the high grip.  The combination of high grip, short trigger reach, and long fingers can result in our dragging the tip of our finger on the trigger guard.  When viewed from the front, your finger crossed the trigger at maybe a 30-45 degree angle to the horizontal, thus the interference with the wide trigger guard.

The solution for me was to increase the reach to the trigger using some Sugru on the back and sides of the grip (ugly but works great), add some JB-Weld to the front of the trigger to increase the reach and freeze the trigger pecker in its retracted position (not for a carry gun), and add some Sugru to the beavertail area to keep my grip a little LOWER on the frame and reduce slightly the downward angle of the trigger finger when viewed from the side.  The result is no trigger finger drag, no trigger pecker interference, and a proper trigger finger placement on the trigger when I pick up the gun.  I also removed some of the trigger guard material under the trigger area and the width before I fattened the grip with Sugru.

I'll post some photos of the "finished" modifications later today.  These changes work for me, but aren't needed for folks with much shorter fingers/smaller hands than mine.

Here is what the Sugru'ed and JB-Welded modifications look like.  These work great .... for ME!

But I do get hate mail on YouTube from people that are offended by what I did to MY plastic pistol.

Is your gun. Let them be offended. It's a lot like the purists who go nuts when someone takes a 100 year old Mauser with a sewer pipe bore and cracked wood, and turns it into a working rifle; the screams of "butcher" and such are always fun.

The JB-Weld on the P-09 does look bad.  The Sugru is easier to work with and I have much more experience now than I did when I first did the P-09.  What are plastic guns for?   :) :)

I always thought I had fairly soft hands, but after reading through this thread I've learned that my hands must be as tough as The Hulk! I picked up a P-10 C over the weekend and put 200 rounds through it and I didn't find the grip texture to be overly aggressive at all. Not even the slightest bit of irritation on my hand. I actually find the front and back texture to be perfect. I just wish they'd have used the same texture on the sides as they do on the front and back as I feel the grip on the sides is lacking. I also didn't have any irritation on my index finger from the safety. Guess I need to use more moisturizer or something.

We are a rare breed Subverto, but there are a few of us.

If they used the same texture on the side it would be superior to the M&P.

Oh, I like the grip texturing also!  Feels fine to me. The day I did put in range time with the P-10 it was quite hot and my hands did sweat a bit but, no grip issues... However on this gun my trigger finger does experience some discomfort. Like I stated in a previous post, the trigger guard seems a bit too small for my liking. I have zero issues with my P-07, 75B, or my Shadow SAO Target.

I am new to the forum. I just joined because yesterday I bought a P10c. Having 10 Walthers helps me compare ergos and trigger with those. Right out of the box, I shot 50 124 plus p rounds, 50 147 grain rounds and 150 124 gr american eagle rounds. I only had one hiccup, when the slide locked about 1/2 inch backwards and refused to go into battery.
The gun fit perfectly in my hand, not better than with my PPQ, but the grip retention was much better. Did not experience the overly aggressive grip claimed by others.

Trigger is very good, not better than the Walther, but the reset is shorter. Very good and clean break. Repetitive shots seem faster than with my Walthers. Recoil was also very good, and certainly had no complaints in accuracy.

The magazine release was very tough to press, and unlike others you need to rotate your hand forward to push it, because pushing the release on the rearmost part gets you nowhere.  The sights are par to a polymer entry gun, but wish aftermarket sights come in soon. I use tfx pros on all my Walthers and could not be happier.

The slide lock/release was also very tough to manipulate originally, but it is getting better.

It is a very nice gun, and have no major regrets in this acquisition.

It is very nice, doesn't feel as plasticy as other striker fired pistols.

I've seen a couple people complain about the slide release.  I'm pretty sure it is not a slide release.  It's a slide catch.  Small, though important difference.  Normally, after inserting a full mag, you'd have to hit the slide release to drop the slide or you'd need to pull the slide back to chamber the first round.  With the P10c, you just slam the full magazine in and the slide drops automatically.  It's a feature of the gun and therefore, the slide release is no longer a necessity.  Try it at the range sometime, not in your living room unless you have some snap caps.  Empty mags take considerably more force to drop the slide automatically.

Newbie here. But, read the manual. It states:

"Reloading During Shooting:
When the last cartridge has been fired the slide will stay to the rear. Remove the emptied magazine and replace it with a loaded one. Thumb down the slide stop with the shooting hand (Fig. 5), or with the other hand draw back the slide and allow it to snap forward. The pistol is again loaded and ready to fire."
