Is the flatter trigger that comes on the 75B Omega Convertible models the same as the P07/P09 trigger?

I had both and the trigger in the 07, 09 are much flatter. The one in the 75B omega convertible hurt my finger.

Thanks Rikr.   Was it the curved trigger in your 75 Omega or the "flatter" one?   Mine has the curved trigger but I've seen pics of them with a trigger that has a flatter profile.

I am going to try to include the 75 B over-the-top of the PO 9 to compare the arc of the trigger and then separate pictures of each one individually.

Thank you WhiteCap!  That helps a lot.  It looks like the triggers are similar in curve.   The reason I ask is the curved trigger on my 75B Omega is a little extreme for me and I was looking for something a little flatter.  I called CZ-USA to try to get my hands on an Omega Convertible trigger but they told me they weren't for sale as a stand alone part yet and recommended that I put a P07/P09 trigger in my Omega.  So I have ordered a P07/P09 trigger.  We'll see how it works out!

Thanks again!

Chris

Do you have the part #? I've been wanting to do the same thing, and had the same idea..............use the convertible trigger. On the CGW sight, David advises the P07 / P09 trigger will not clear the steel frame. I hope it works for you because I want to do the same thing!!!!!

The part number is 97005.  CGW says the "new" triggers WILL clear the 75B Omega trigger guard.   It's currently at the 'smiths being installed along with a "3 spring kit", firing pin, competition hammer and heavier west spring.

Here is another reference pic. I prefer the Gen.2 as well. Edit: Gen1 is the older P-series trigger, Gen2 is the newer P series trigger.

Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Thanks Chris. That is the one I was referring to. I'm also going to order the hammer and sear spring.

So the p09 trigger listed here fits the omega cz75b even though on the site it says "NOTE:  will not clear the frame on the metal framed 75B Omega?s".

Maybe David (schmeky) can answer this for us.

Yes Woffar, that's what the nice gentleman at CGW told me over the phone.  He said the newest triggers will now fit the 75B Omega.   Maybe Schmeky can confirm?

Sorry for the general commentary, but I wish CZ would start introducing the less curved trigger as an option.   Along those lines, can the SA style trigger be used on a DA/SA model?

So Tok, regarding the pic you posted, the thinner profile trigger is the design that's on the latest P07/P09s?
