got my pre-b back from refinish and trigger job
« on: June 10, 2017, 08:21:47 PM »
I finally got my cz75 back from having a duracoat (hk black seemed to match the original polycoat) and trigger job. It was a police trade in from robertsons trading post I got 5 or so years ago. Looks much better now.

Man, that is sweet! Very nice Pre-B! The finisher did a great job right down to the red dot on the frame for the safety.

i work for a firearms company that has a custom shop. They degreased, bead blasted, parkerized and painted it in exchange for a 12 pack of beer  ;).

That's beautiful!

I was looking at a couple of CZ75s on GB that had worn finishes from being carried.

I wondered what the original finish was.

Would having one refinished in Cerakote diminish it's value any more than the worn finish already has?

That was a 12 pack well spent.

If at some point they ever become really desired by collectors then it probably would diminish their value, but i dont plan on ever selling it so it value really never came into the equation.

Hope it was at least a 12-pack of Pilsner Urquell for that nice refinish. The value of these mid-late surplus pre-Bs is greater in the pleasure of shooting and refurbishing to ones delight than will ever be in a collector's eye?
