MKE Z5RS
« on: July 11, 2017, 05:17:50 PM »
Always wanted a MP5 but it's the price of 2-3 good rifles. So next best thing is a so called licensed clone...nah not an ASG...the MKE Z5RS...with a holy suppressor! And the obligatory pose with the.....maidens in a row!

Replaced the trigger group, housing and hand guard and threw in a light.

Can I let you in on a little secret about the "clones"?

Most all of them use HK parts, or at least parts authorized to be made by Heckler and Koch to their specs.

Or in the instance of US made guns, built up from surplus parts kits that have been imported from overseas with enough us parts to be 922 compliant.

When people ignorant of guns make gun laws, you end up with ignorant gun laws.

Really leaning towards braces as SBRs are just too much $$$, wait and difficult to sell later. Tailhooked retractrable stock for a hybrid MKE-HK pistol. Still need some sanding and paint, maybe some epoxy potting but it works!
