« on: July 13, 2017, 07:42:28 PM »
Will take-off night sights from my SP-01 work on my new P-01?

Possibly, but probably not.  P-01 sights are usually a #3 or 4.  SP-01 sights are usually a #6.

My SP-01 tactical uses a #4 and so does my P-01 (at least that what the mepros say on them). Not sure if they vary gun to gun. Both of mine shoot nice and POA/POI for me.

I've got my old SP-01 sights in the desk in front of me and I can't find a number stamped on them.  Is there a measurement from the base of the dovetail I could take that would correspond with a sight #?

Look on the bottom of the rear sight.

I did, with a bright light, and with my glasses.   I couldn't find it.

The reason I said this was because I was told years ago when I was looking at sights for my P-01 that they were usually a little taller rest than the other 75's.

Would be a good question to ask David at CGW.

Thanks for the advice!  I'll call him soon and report back.

I called CGW and was told that yes, they would work.    I'll give them a try.

Good, glad to hear that.  I must have been told wrong years ago.  Learn something new and good everyday.
