CGW PCR Night Sights
« on: July 15, 2017, 01:50:25 PM »
Looking at CGW website they show 2 different sets of night sights that fit the PCR. The Trijicons 310-221 and the Tritiums 310-230. What is the difference between these two?

The 310-221 is for the standard dovetail of the 75 series. (P01, 75b, compact, etc. also the PCR, but will have a gap where the step in the slide is.)
The 310-230 are for the PCR only. Designed for the step in the slide.

Another question. Do these sights change the POA/POI?

I recently installed the 310-230 and POI is 3" high at 25 yds.  At defensive distances the difference is negligible but still thinking of asking CGW if they can be replaced or modified.  I also wish the rear notch was just a tad bit wider.
All that being said, i do like them and did really well at a recent defensive pistol shoot.

That's what I was afraid of. I installed a set of TFX Trueglo's and was hoping these two on CGW didn't change the POA. But, I have the same outcome. Self defense distances is ok, further out in target shooting POA is high. If CGW steer you toward something to replace them with that doesn't change the POA and can still be seen let me know. I have a set of Fiber Optic sights from them and while fine outside, indoor range work suffers. I have old eyes and need something I can see in and outside.
