Hey, the P07 is back up. 

I decided after trying to put the decocker back in that I'd rather try the safety for now for the following reasons:

1.  Getting the tiny end of the DC spring in position, holding it in place while guiding the DC levers R/L in place and holding my mouth JUST right wasn't worth the trouble.

2.  I can SAFELY decock the pistol using my support thumb in front of the trigger.

3.  The safety is surprisingly crisp - better than a B safety.

4.  The safety lever is less obstrusive for releasing the slide release lever which is important and not so easy on the P07.

5.  Decocking with the support hand is NOT a big deal and I like to do it on a SIG and P99 - as it is part of a safing and holstering operation AFTER the BGs seem at bay.
