On the bright side, you could be starting a part time job at Cabela's (like yours truly) for extra money "to pad the savings account"...  I'm curious to see how this turns out.

Let me get this straight. You say they actually pay YOU? You don't pay THEM to hang out, play pool, eat their food,...  That's something else,.........great score on your part!

Haha yeah yeah. They mostly pay me to do things like test and implement algorithms for behavioral  segmentation and all sorts of other analytics based fun stuff.

Dang.  That looks like a great place to work.  Cabela's next door just adds another perk.  At least you can just walk next door to spend some of your hard earned money.

Good reply Scarlett Pistol.  Analytics, statistics and graphing can be fun but communication with people (during briefings) are not always fun.  I did enjoy office free coffee and occasional free lunches.  Range time is therapy for some of us.

Looks like a great gig.

Fortunately (or unfortunately) the nearest Cabelas to me is about 220 miles away.  :-\
