Tristar / Canik C-100 Magazines
« on: July 21, 2017, 03:38:48 PM »
I am in the process of purchasing a C-100 ,but after here and on other forums, the Tristar website and reviews ,I am looking to confirm that the Canik comes (1) 14 round magazine and (1) 10 round magazine both made by Mecgar.  Do they both have the thick "finger rest butt plate? I would also like to confirm that Factory CZ 75B compact magazines feed and will drop free. The reason is that I want my magazines butt plate to be flush with the bottom of the grip frame....thank you in advance

buds lists the c100 with 2 15 rd mags.

My t 100 came with 2 15 round mecgar mags that read canik and it has the baseplate with a bit of pinky purchase and its a nice flush fit. My CZ compact 14 round mag will not lock into the Tristar.

My P-100 came with 1 15 round mag. There is a rubber bumper on about 3/16' thick, with a "pinky curl". It does not affect the grip feel, and does not cause an objectional carry profile. I haven't bought additional mags, but I do know that my 17 round  SAR mag locks, feeds, and drops flawlessly from my Tristar. I carry it as my reload magazine, and will probably order a couple more of them. Mec-Gar is the OEM manufacturer for Tristar mags.

Both my C100s came with (2) 15 rd. mags. each. My CZ 75 Compact mags (14 rds.) lock in just fine and have no issues… not sure why. After reading the replies here it seems they’re not supposed too. I also purchased a couple of CZ 75 Compact mags from a Mecgar supplier...and they also work great in the C100s. So, maybe I just got lucky…

My Shark C and Tristar T100 both came with two 15 rounders. I use and have ordered several Mecgar CZ75 magazines and they work fine. I have a P120 and order Mecgar CZ mags for it as well.

My C-100 came with 2 MecGar mags that are marked, "Canik 55Compact-9mm" on the left side. On the right side, the last witness hole is marked "13". They both have flat metal base plates that fit flush, and blue followers. They work perfectly and drop freely as well.
