CZ 70 mag markings
« on: July 27, 2017, 12:19:50 PM »
I just acquired three CZ70 mags. Can anyone tell me if there are any markings on to mags to verity that they are factory CZ?
Right now two of them have a small 1 stamped on the back rib and one has a larger 0.

Thanks!

As far as I know, there was no CZ factory marking on the magazines for CZ50 or CZ70. Numbers you have on your magazines were probably stamped to differentiate the owner.

You can also find out, if your magazines were for the CZ50 or CZ70. CZ50 magazines are with 8 holes for 8 rounds, those for CZ70 are with 9 holes, the lowest hole is smaller and not in the line with others. They should take 9 rounds, but you can rack them to the gun only with the opened slide. Of course, both magazines are interchangeable.

Miguel is correct. And the follower is more squared on the 70 also.
