Carbine barrel nut removal ?
« on: August 08, 2017, 03:23:31 PM »
I got the tool for the nut, my question is how and where do I hold the receiver ? I am very nervous about torqueing on that locktited nut and cracking the rec. or twisting the barrel fixture. So for those who have done this what's the best method ? Any tips or advice ? -Thanks

Put it in a vice with soft jaws. You want to clamp it with the bolt closed, around the trunnion/chamber area.

Yep, just look at the area where the socket hex screws are installed in front of the ejection port.
