Cz 50/70 not firing in double action

So I finally had a chance to take my cz50 and my cz 70 out to the range. They are truly fantastic guns. I was having issues with my cz 70 where I would attempt to shoot it in double action, the hammer would retract and fall, but fail to fire off a round (there were primer strikes) sometimes it would work in double action, sometimes it would take 2 or 3 trigger pulls. Is this the sign of a weak mainspring or another issue? I did not have any difficulty firing in single action.
