How many rounds of .40 in a TS?
« on: August 15, 2017, 07:09:21 AM »
Quick question

Is it possible to fit more than 17 rounds of .40 in TS mags?

For some reason I thought you could with the 10 coil CZC spring & follower combo but I was wrong (running the stock rubber bases as I need to fit the box).

Realistically I'm out of time for the World Shoot but now i just want to know.

CZC's site says using their 10 coil spring and follower will add capacity.
First developed in aluminum for testing and then created as a glass filled polymer molded follower.
The new CZC follower and spring combination will add capacity to all you CZ magazines.
Works on the Standard CZ 75 Magazine and on the Tactical Sports Magazine (TS).
Extra capacity depends on the type of base pad used on the magazine.
Increasing magazine capacity and reliability.
May not lock the slide back.

That said, CZ UB sells different base pads.  I got some with my TS Orange.  Not certain they fit in the IPSC Standard box but I'd assume they do since they are stock on the TSO.  It appears they would allow at least one more round vs the plastic base pads if using the +10 coil and follower setup.  I think I saw a couple of GunBroker last week if shipping from CZ UB isn't feasible for the WS timeline.
