First trip with the new Shadow
« on: August 26, 2017, 03:24:39 PM »
Took my new Shadow Duo tone (thanks Stuart!) Straight to the range after I picked it up from my FFL. Gave it a quick wipe down and function check and it ate 100 rds no problem.

First rounds out of the gun, 25 yards off hand:

Two pics of my double tap drill @ 10 yards. Draw from holster, double tap, holster, repeat. Each target has (or should have) 20 rds on each.

And another 4 small targets at 10 yards. These are self adhesive and a few didn't want to come off...

For me, this is really, really good. That's about a 2.5" group center to center on top, with plain Jane 124gr American Eagle ammo. Huge shout out to Stuart for hooking me up, he had it on its way same day! I'm thinking about getting a dovetail mount and optic and trying my hand at Carry Optics. What do you guys think?

That should make a great C.O. pistol.

I was pretty surprised myself! I'm starting to see why some people call these full size CZs "cheater" guns. As a side note, s gentleman shooting a 1911 saw that I was shooting a CZ and showed interest. Naturally, I offered him a magazine to shoot through it. Turns to me when he was done shooting and asked "Where can I get one of these?" Love spreading the CZ joy!
