While waiting out the rain...

While stuck inside during the flooding due to Hurricane Harvey I decided to take the old traditional CZ black plastic case and gold leaf the logo and tabs so that my Vzor 70 wouldn't get jealous of my new CZs in their black and gold cases or my older C&R CZs in their dressed-up MTM cases.

Looks nice. My 70 doesn't even have a box. It does have a special place in my safe though. 😀

I had found photos of the original style blue cardboard box that the Vzor 70 was sold in and had though a while about creating a replica box to keep it in.

I ended up with what you see above which stores much better than cardboard.

Nice touch. Better than any sort of cardboard for storage. Let's hear it for the Vz. 50/70s (and a distant cousin). Stay safe.
