Newbie here looking to learn more about the CZ 527 Lux in .223.  Something to hunt with using ammo I already have.

I have a 2013 stamped 527 Varmint in .223
It is a quality rifle that is limited only by the operators ability (i.e. me). A Lux will be equal in quality but more convenient to carry than the heavier barrel Varmint. Be alert but not put off by any warnings about the Bavarian "Hogback" style stock and scope use - try it and see if it works for you. I don't have any issues with the "Hogback" stock on my 550 with a Leupold 3-9x40. It is the only rifle I have in that style and it shoulders well with instant scope picture acquisition. If you are after a carry rifle you could do much worse and spend much more. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.,
