CZ 75 .357 SIG

...If anyone has experiences with other 357 SIG pistols I would love to hear about it....

I have and own the .357sig in the following pistols with the triggers:

Sig P226 (DA/SA)
Sig P229 (DAK)
HK P2000 (Heavy LEM)
HK USP357 (DA/SA)
HK P30L (Light LEM)
Beretta Cougar 8357 (DA/SA)

IMHO, the best pistol is the HK P30L because of the easy trigger, balance, lowest felt recoil and ergo grip. Quickest follow-up shots and accuracy is 1-inch groupings 10-12 yds out.

Second best is the Sig P226. Slightly more felt recoil than the P30, and the short reset trigger helps a lot. Rate of follow-up shots and accuracy same as P30.

All others are a distant third because of the trigger systems. Heavy or gritty DA pull, heavy break, long travel between break and reset, etc. The worst is the Beretta, but that is another story.

as the 357 Sig operates at a higher pressure than the 10 MM then I don't see why not?

It won't happen because the 10mm is too long to fit in the grip frame.  45ACP, 10mm and 9x23Win would have to utilize the CZ97 sized frame.  9mm, 9x21, 30 Luger, 40S&W and 357Sig can all utilize the CZ75 sized frame.  If you want a 10mm, the large frame Witness is the way to go.  I have two and they're great.

   I have a 226 X5 All Around that has a Bar-Sto barrel in .357 sig fitted. THAT is a low recoil (for the cartridge) platform for sure. I can hit my hundred yard, 10" square, steel plate quite regularly with that setup.

Was that Sig steel or polymer frame?  I'm assuming steel or aluminum since it was a duty weapon, but want to check please.

Yep. The only Sigs with steel frames are most of their 1911s and the Sig P220 in 10mm.

Nice CZ there!!!!

For 357Sig round I like have a P229 and it shoots really well. It's quite a fun round at the range if you don't mind the ammo cost

Have you tried different grips?  I know lots of folks like those, but they give my hand a real workout when shooting full power .40's.

I'm surprised it didn't come with some palmswell bogies on it or something like that.

I haven't tried new grips yet as I have gone on a bit of a purchasing spree this last month so i have a list of pistols to play with.

Its a good suggestion though, as I think this is a great carry round.

Awesome pistol! My Sig P239 is chambered in 357 Sig.

I have two .357 SIG pistols.  A Glock M31 and a S&W M&P FS model.  The M&P feels better in my hand than the Glock but that darn Glock shoots better groups than the M&P.  Disgusting.

Some day.  Some day I'll have a CZ in .357 SIG.  Just need to have enough unused money around to decide "it's time!"

I want a 10mm compact and the only reliable one I can find is the Glock 29.... The Witness steel compact is a total crap shoot and it breaks my heart that I may have to go to the dark side. But then I'll get a barrel in 9x25 dillon and use a compensator.    that's how this ties into 357 Sig.

Does the bottom of the barrel lug get cut off on the 357 SIG barrel? (They do that on the 40S&W barrel.)
