I bought a new Rami yesterday.  I immediately field stripped and cleaned it.  There did not appear to be any anti-corrosion grease or anything that would have hindered taking it straight to the range, which I did today.  I put 100 rounds of Federal 115 grain FMJ (Walmart) through it.  It was plenty accurate and functioned properly.  Both mags worked to full capacity, i.e.. 14 and 10 rounds.  I had expected the gun to be easier to shoot, and to be more accurate with the bigger mag with grip extension.  I did not find this to be the case.  This thing shot like my much larger Beretta. The weight pays off here.  I next put an odd assortment of high performance hollow points through it.  The second round hung up in the mag.  I may have jammed it when loading.   There were no other malfunctions.  The mag release is a bear to operate.  Does anyone have a suggestion on how to improve this without hurting the function?  I hope the jam in the magazine does not repeat.

Just shoot the snot out of it I have just over 1700 through mine and it keeps getting better. I almost forgot change the outer recoil spring every 600-1000 rounds.

I just bought a CZ 2075 RAMI BD a few weeks ago to add to the collection.

I didn't do my usual field-strip, clean, CLP and slide greasing before I took it to the range.

I too had similar issues...the second round in both the 14 round and 10 round magazines failed to fully go into battery on the first two mag loads.  I was using cheap range ammunition.

On the third mag, it was only the first round in the 14 round mag that had the same problem.

Subsequent mags didn't experience any problems.

I expect it to go away after I do my usual cleaning--including taking the mags apart and CLP-ing the insides and mag spring.

Something I did notice is that there is quite a bit of trigger bite which surprised me since none of my other CZs, SIGs, FNs, Rugers or Kel-Tecs have that problem.  Searching the forum I see that it is noticeable on many RAMIs after firing a 100 rounds or more.

Does anyone have any suggestions for reducing this behavior.

It is where, during recoil, your trigger finger tends to get a momentary bump or pinch between the trigger and the trigger guard.

It may not bother you at first, but after about 30-40 rounds, you WILL notice it.

You can avoid it if you keep the trigger squeezed until after recoil (like when shooting a DA revolver) and then release to allow the trigger to reset.

It does, however, affect your timing on follow-up shots.

I don't think the stock RAMI causes trigger pinch. I never got pinched with mine. However, the geometry of the stock trigger (the Recurve trigger) can become uncomfortable and/or painful after prolonged shooting. It was for me.

The solution is to replace the trigger with a more comfortable one. The "new style" 85c combat trigger (https://cajungunworks.com/product/85c/) solved this for me. It has a slightly larger radius than the Recurve trigger and is much more comfortable to shoot. Others go as far as to install the "old style" 85c trigger (https://cajungunworks.com/product/75585-85c-old-style-trigger/) which has an even larger radius.

If you decide to replace your trigger, I would highly recommend changing the trigger pin with the floating trigger pin (https://cajungunworks.com/product/tr-pin-cgws-exclusive-floating-trigger-pin/).

I have replaced the trigger on my RAMI and PCR, and it was one of the best upgrades I did. (Strangely, the trigger of my full-size 75b has always been fine).

If you are not comfortable replacing the trigger yourself, any gunsmith can quickly do it, or send it to Cajun Gun Works.

Not mentioned above, my high recommendation is what CGW is now calling the "5 Thick Trigger" although I've ordered (twice) the same great product under "OEM Thick Trigger" within the past two years.
