That marking will likely not survive the refinishing process but unless it really concerns you I wouldn't care about it. From looking at all my CZ's it appears to be lightly laser etched and pretty thin as well.

The marking gets stripped off. I had my lower cerakoted and here is where the Kansas City markings used to be:

The fleet:

CZ 75b SA
S&W 19-3

It will disappear for sure as shown in pic above. I cerokoted a frame also and it's gone

On my SP-01 compact, which I had black nitrided, those markings are still there, but then again, black nitriding isn't a paint-like coating either..

Shallow enough that it did not even survive the prep and process for hard chroming. My refinisher (Accurate Plating & Weaponry) had to re-etch it. They did a great job though.
