CZ 75 TACTICAL SPORT BLACK / ORANGE 9MM 5.4-INCH: 10RD vs 20RD
« on: November 29, 2017, 03:02:41 PM »
With regard to the CZ 75 TS Black/Orange:

1) It's the same frame, regardless of mag capacity?

2) To those who own this gun, how do you like the grip? Does it seem big? I would be disappointed to buy a beautiful gun like this and not get the terrific ergonomics of CZ's other guns, like the CZ-75B?

Thanks. :)

TSO has undercuts I believe and checkering from the Czechmate.

I've only handled a modified CTS, but it felt fine to me, and I have smaller hands.

Correct.  I believe the TSO's slide is hand fitted to the frame.

I own both and really enjoy shooting the Orange.  While the TSO grip is larger than the standard 75's and slightly smaller than a standard TS, it fits in my hand very well.  Best bet is to handle each side-by-side and see which fits your grip/fingers better.

TSO grip and checkering is amazing.  It fits me better than the 75 series which is very comfortable in its own.  But the TSO just points consistently and [nearly] effortlessly.  The only issue I've heard from others is the thumbrest isn't where they'd like it (long or short thumbs?).  For me, it's perfect.

I'm getting the feeling that "CZ" must be a Czech abbreviation for "Out of Stock." Half their line of steel 9mm guns is unavailable on the sites, and in the LGSs, that I frequent.  :(

Yeah, the CZ 75 frame is smaller than the Target Sport.  The magazines do not interchange either.

I really like the way the CZ 75/85 frame/grips feel in my hand.  The Target Sport is bigger but I won't say it's uncomfortable or that I don't like it.  It's just different.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

They get imported in batches and sell out quickly.  Best method is to search by CZ PN and when you find someone that has one at a reasonable price- don't procrastinate.  Several places had the 9mm TSO in stock about 2-3 weeks ago.  The .40 is available now (CZ customs & riflegear are two that I found doing a quick search) if you are not set on getting a TSO in 9mm.
