How to Get the CZ83 on the ATF C&R List?
« on: December 03, 2017, 01:06:19 PM »
How can one get the CZ 83 on the curio and relic list?  I would like to give it a try but I have no idea how to contact or who to contact in firearms museums to petition them to write to ATF.  The CZ 82 is on the C&R and the CZ 83 is practically the same gun.  It probably has more reason to get on the list since it is the only 15 round 32 ACP ever made.  Any suggestions would be helpful.  Thank you.

The vz82 was a military sidearm for a country that no longer exists. The CZ 83 was a commercial model produced as late as 2015. I highly doubt it will be added to the list.

It is much the same situation as Russian military and East German Makarovs are C&R eligible. Commercial Russian exports and surplus from countries that still exist (e.g. Romania) aren't C&R eligible.
