DW saved me money
« on: December 16, 2017, 06:52:45 PM »
I acquired my DW Valor after selling my Springfield EMP.  I had plans to sell another gun and to buy a black gun (glock, Walther PPQ, HK p2000, etc.).  I have been shooting my Valor often and love it.  I have also been hunting for my new black gun on line and in gun shops.  None of these black guns feel even remotely shootable compared to my Valor.  I have asked myself, "if I buy a glock 9mm, will I shoot it or will I store it and shoot my Valor?"  The answer is that I will shoot my Valor.  The $1315 for my Valor now seems like even more of a bargain.  Money saved (for ammo, of course).  Thank you, Dan Wesson.

Agree. Am very impressed w/ my DW Specialist Commander.  Will be shooting it this Sat at our IDPA match. I usually shoot my CZ P01 or my revolvers......

Thanks- did reasonably well, ending in the top 3rd. Gun and warbird holster did just fine. Any shortcomings were due to the trigger puller :D

Next month, I’ll shoot my new to me SP01 Tactical if I get my holster in.

I used to have an SP-01 Tactical.  That thing was very accurate and had no recoil due to its weight.  I ended up selling it because of the weight, but now I wish I had it back.  You have excellent choice in firearms.  All the best.
