Will AK Mag Springs Work In A VZ58 Magazine?

I've used a Wolff brand replacement AK magazine spring in a VZ-58 magazine and it worked perfectly well.

I bought a bunch of Damage Industries AK springs that do not fit, and I tried them in over a dozen different surplus magazines.  There's another member on this board who had good luck with that brand.  I think the variance is on the aftermarket springs rather than the magazines.

I used Damage Industry AK springs in surplus VZ 58 mags and they fit & function fine, but they are longer front-back than the original springs. Not sure if DI changed specs on springs, mine were a 12 pack purchased a long time ago.
