Shooting (video) at the dog park
« on: February 05, 2018, 06:39:05 AM »
Dogs.  Dogs are fascinating social pack animals.  My wife and I take our 75 lb female labradoodle to the dog park most Saturdays and Sundays year round when we are in town.  She has seen the same group of dogs every weekend for 8 years.  They have a blast.  I've studied how they interact, how they play, what they like to do.  I've successfully guessed at what they are most likely to do in many situations.  Makes it easier to film them.

Here is a video including a short interaction with a local taunting squirrel from Saturday, followed by a few short clips from the wildlife preserve visit after the dog park.

Here is the short video from Sunday, when I was testing auto focus with a particular lens/filter/speed combination and doing some slow motion clips.

Editing videos is what I do instead of watching TV, LOL.

Dogs are fun.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed those videos.  Good training for a once or twice per year wildlife photographer.

I was expecting a video about a "shooting" at the dog park. Lol glad it's not. Love labradoodles, we have one as well although no where near as big as yours.
