I made mine out to Dave Esch, as that is the (most likely fictitious) name on the checking account, per AM.
Joe

LOL - nice, Joe! :)

I think the value of one Bitcoin would keep use going for a few years, so yeah, not likely. :) Our members have always come through in the past, and several sponsors and vendors, too. Something about CZ appeals to the generous. ;)

I don't have a clue, but he mentioned a big Memorial Day prize for later this year.  Start there and add website and other expenses.  The amount received might drive the cost to operate  instead of the other way around. :)

Obviously hosting comes first... our target there runs in the neighborhood of $425/annually.

Anything above and beyond we put towards the Memorial/Independence Day giveaway (we buy the grand prize out of pocket), shipping costs, etc.

There are some other odds and ends but those are the biggies.

I?ll sneak in a donation each month. First one was this morning!

Most welcome. Small, but I'll hit it monthly so it adds up over the year.

What about Venmo or Square? Or even Google Wallet?

I don't think I have ever heard of those - remember, I am of the tech generation that had phones with cords, on the wall, and my first computer was as a teen ager, a Commodore Vic-20. I learned compsci on Apple IIes and TRS 80s. So times pass my old wrinkled butt by pretty quick - maybe one of these might work, don't know enough to know. Our new and outstanding IT guy is checking in to some things.
I had a Commodore 64 as my first...but I was way past a teen...way way way past.

It isn't that hard,

Sir sonspark is teh awesome...in the current vernacular. ;D
I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.

There has been some confusion. Please continue to send via snail mail for now, please, and a HUGE thank you for everyone who steps up, very thankful for your continued support.

The address and account are good and set up. It takes me some time to get to the post office nowadays, but when I get over there again all donations will be deposited and logged for Admins to see, so we have an accurate accounting of what our fantastic members do to help out.
I would love to win enough in the lottery to never have to do this again, or get a big enough raise to cover it. :)
