The BREN bayonet doesn't fit on the 16" barreled carbine, correct? Not that I was going to fix bayonets and charge TUB any time soon, but just a thought for grins and giggles.

I think the only way is to cut out the middle of the Czech army issued bayonet handle and weld it together at the correct length. Anyone crazy enough to do that?

I cut my barrel down to 14.5" will the bayonette work with that length? I know the military ones are 14" so hoping the 14.5" will work

Are you in the US? If so, did you weld and pin a muzzle brake or flash hider to get the barrel total OAL to 16.1 inches? Then probably not, as the same length is there in the way - nly was would be to move the lug forward, and making the stabby thing with the rifle isn't really popular in the civilian world. If you are and you didn't, you have an SBR and a bunch of trouble. Registered SBRs can use the bayonet without a problem.
